Deceleration Control System: Operation: Dashpot

On all Man. Trans. models and Auto. Trans. Cordia and Tredia models with power steering, carburetor is equipped with a dashpot. Dashpot delays throttle valve closure to its normal idling position, thus reducing HC emissions.
