Glow Plug System
The glow plug system eliminates waiting time at start-up during low temperatures and enables start operations. This is known as a dropping resistor method system.
By using the extra quick generator type, super glow plug, and a glow plug control unit, cranking is made possible right after ignition. After ignition, if coolant temperature is below 131°F (55°C), after-glow is continued for a period of time to maintain stable heat generation and noise suppression.
