Accelerator Cable
- For turbocharged vehicles, keep ignition key at "ON" position for at least 15 seconds before adjustment. Confirm that accelerator inner cable has no slack.
- If cable shows slack, adjust by loosening nut so that throttle lever is free. Check routing of accelerator cable to confirm that there are no sharp twists or bends. Use adjusting nut to make adjustment of free play to within specifications. On turbocharged vehicles, check that idle speed control switch touches the stopper after idle speed control adjustment.
