Component Testing: Speedometer
Ensure tire pressure is at proper level. Using a reliable speedometer tester, compare reading of vehicle to that of speedometer tester. See SPEEDOMETER ALLOWABLE VARIATION table. If speedometer reading does not fall between standard variation range, replace speedometer.
