High Altitude Timing Control

Check ignition timing when adjusting terminal is grounded. When not grounded, timing is 15 degrees BTDC. When grounded, timing should retard 5 degrees. If specifications are incorrect, replace Electronic Spark Control (ESC) ignitior.
