Ensure idle speed is within specification. See ADJUSTMENTS article in this section. Poor ISC motor position sensor performance can be caused by dirty throttle valve, throttle valve-to-plenum vacuum leak, miscellaneous vacuum leaks, EGR valve leak and/or poor engine performance caused by malfunctions of emission, fuel or ignition system.
