Throttle Position Sensor

Measure resistance between terminals No. 1 (Black wire) and No. 4 (Green/Yellow wire) at throttle position sensor harness connector A-68 (component side). Resistance should read 3.5-6.5 ohms. Measure resistance between terminals No. 3 (Brown/Red wire) and No. 4 (Green/Yellow wire) at throttle position sensor harness connector A-68 (component side). Resistance value should change smoothly between closed and open position. If resistance readings are not in specifications or resistance does not change smoothly between closed and open position, replace throttle position sensor.
