Automatic Trans: Cooling: Radiator: Installation
The radiator has two isolator pins on bottom of both tanks. These fit into alignment holes in radiator lower support.
- Install power steering cooler, if removed.
- Install transmission oil cooler if removed.
- Install the upper radiator mount
- Position isolator pins into alignment holes in radiator lower support.
- Install upper radiator support. Tighten bolts to 23 N.m (200 in. lbs.)
- Install LH and RH radiator side seals.
- Install upper radiator hose.
- Install overflow tube.
- Install radiator shroud.
- Install power steering cooler lines.
- Install transmission cooler lines.
- Install lower radiator hose.
- Lower vehicle.
- Fill radiator (Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE ).
- Connect battery negative cable.
- Start and warm the engine. Check for leaks.
