Auto-Dimming Feature Test
- Turn the electric motor switch to the ON position.
- Cover the forward-facing light sensor on the back of the mirror with a black cloth.
- While in a well-lit area, make sure light strikes the sensor on the front of the mirror, simulating glare from vehicles behind you. The mirror will dim within 2 minutes if testing for the first time. If the mirror does not dim, replace the inside rear view mirror.
