System Check: Stanza
- Disconnect throttle valve switch harness connector and jump wire male ends of connector together. Disconnect harness connector on carburetor. Using 2 jump wires, reconnect Red wires and Black wires of connector.
- Start engine and make sure that engine stops when engine speed increases to about 2000-2500 RPM. If not, check harness connections at engine RPM switch and repair as necessary.
- If harness connections are okay, replace engine RPM switch with a new one.
