Removal and Installation: Removal

  1. Remove battery. Refer to Removal and Installation .
  2. Remove front wheel and tire.
  3. Remove IPDM E/R. Refer to Removal and Installation of IPDM E/R .
  4. Disconnect harness connectors from electric intake valve timing control module. Refer to Harness Connector (lever locking type).
  5. Remove Nuts (A), and remove electric intake valve timing control module (1).

    CAUTION: Never touch harness connector pins with bare hands.
