Front Door Lock Switch Output Test
- Disconnect front door lock switch 3-pin connector. Ensure battery voltage is present at connector terminal "B" (Orange wire). If battery voltage is not present, check relay center fuse No. 3 and Orange wire for an open or short circuit to ground.
- If battery voltage is present, momentarily connect a fused jumper wire between connector Black wire and Orange wire. Doors should unlock. If doors do not unlock, check Black wire for an open circuit.
- If doors unlock, momentarily connect a fused jumper wire between connector Orange wire and Light Blue wire. Doors should lock. If doors do not lock, check Light Blue wire for an open circuit.
- If all checks are okay, check suspect door lock switch connector for good terminal contact. If connector(s) and terminals are okay, replace door lock switch.
