CAUTION:
DO NOT strike steering shaft with hammer to remove steering
wheel. Hammering could loosen the plastic injections
maintaining column rigidity.
NOTE:
Use exploded view illustrations for overhaul of steering
column assembly. See Figure or
Figure. Perform overhaul
procedure
with steering column removed from vehicle, and with steering
wheel and upper and lower cover removed.
