System Check

  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. All doors locked. Depress UNLOCK button on transmitter. Interior light illuminates, driver's door unlocks.
  2. Depress UNLOCK button on transmitter twice within 5 seconds. Interior light illuminates, all doors unlock.
  3. Depress LOCK button on transmitter. All doors lock.
  4. Depress TRUNK RELEASE button on transmitter. Trunk latch releases.
  5. Depress UNLOCK button and within 30 seconds turn ignition switch to RUN position. Interior lights go out as soon as ignition switch is in RUN position.
  6. Move gear select lever to Reverse. Depress TRUNK RELEASE button on transmitter. Trunk latch should not release.
  7. With gear select in Park or Neutral and ignition switch in any position, depress TRUNK RELEASE button on transmitter. Trunk latch should release.
