Auto Learn

NOTE: This procedure must be performed after ignition switch replacement.

Clear all DTCs. See scan tool manufacturer's instructions. With transmission in Park (A/T) or Neutral (M/T), turn ignition switch to START position. Vehicle should start and then stall. Leave ignition switch in RUN position (engine off) until THEFT SYSTEM indicator turns off (about 10 minutes). Turn ignition switch to OFF position for 10 seconds. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. On next start attempt, Body Function Controller (BFC) will learn new data.
