Transmitter RESYNCHRONIZATION

The transmitters may become out of synchronization with the remote function actuator (RFA) module when changing the transmitter battery or excessively pressing the transmitter buttons while out of the vehicles range.

When a transmitter becomes out of sychronization, only the panic feature will operate from the transmitter.

To resychronize the transmitter, perform the following steps:

1. Hold the transmitter within the range of the vehicle.
2. Press and hold the transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons simultaneously for 8 seconds. See Fig 1 . When the transmitter is synchronized with the vehicle, the door locks will cycle. The horn will chirp and the exterior lights will flash, if programmed to do these functions.
