Exhaust Emissions System - EVAP: Description
Fuel evaporation system is designed to prevent fuel vapors from entering the atmosphere. System consists of a sealed fuel filler cap, charcoal canister, a liquid/vapor separator (station wagons), a calibrated jet in the primary carburetor and one in the line connecting the fuel tank with the charcoal canister.
On station wagons, the calibrated jet is installed in the vapor/liquid separator line to fuel tank. The liquid/vapor separator is attached to the rear left-hand fender lining and is connected to the fuel tank and to the fuel filler hose.
