Fuel Injection System - BOSCH LH: Testing: Counterpressure

Hookup Pressure Pump (P.N. 91.44) to Pressure Adaptor (P.N. 91.49). Depress by-pass harness switch to operate fuel pump. Using pressure pump, increase fuel pressure to 3 bars. Turn by-pass harness switch off. Disconnect fuel pressure regulator return hose.
Connect in its place a rubber hose the other end of which should be inside a graduated glass burette. Depress by-pass harness switch unit for 15 seconds. The quantity of fuel delivered should be greater than 18.3 oz. (.54L). If the volume of fuel is inadequate, refer to INSUFFICIENT FUEL OUTPUT. Reconnect return hose on pressure regulator.
