Interlock System

Function of interlock is to control current flow to the starter relay which in turn will activate starter. To check interlock operation, use a suitable test lamp connected to ground and to ignition terminal on starter relay. Have a helper sit in driver's seat, fasten seatbelt and turn ignition switch to start position. If lamp lights, interlock system is functioning, proceed to solenoid test.
