Coolant Temperature Sensor: Code 7
- Remove coolant temperature sensor from intake manifold and place end of sensor in water. DO NOT allow sensor to touch container. Terminal connector portion of sensor should be .12" (3.0 mm) above water.
- Gradually heat water and read resistance values at terminal connectors. See COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR RESISTANCE table. If not within specifications, replace sensor.
