A/C Compressor Cut-Out

The A/C cut-out relay is wired in series with the A/C damped pressure switch and A/C switch. This relay is on during A/C operation. When the SMEC senses a wide open throttle condition through the throttle position sensor, or low engine RPM, it will de-energize the relay, opening the contacts and preventing compressor clutch engagement.
