5.2L EFC System/Testing: Description: Notes

The Electronic Fuel Control System (EFC) is used on all models. System consists of a Spark Control Computer (SCC), various engine sensors, a specially calibrated carburetor and a dual pick-up distributor. The purpose of the system is to maintain the ideal air/fuel ratio of 14.7:1 in almost all operating conditions.
