Window Switch Voltage Test

NOTE: The following wiring test sequence determines whether or not voltage is continuous through body harness to switch.
  1. Remove window switch. See WINDOW SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Carefully separate multiple terminal block on wiring harness from window switch body.
  2. Using a test light, connect one lead to Black  wire terminal. Touch other test light to Tan wire terminal.
  3. If test light comes on, wiring circuit between battery and switch is okay. If light does not come on, check 30-amp circuit breaker or check for a broken feed or ground wire. Repair and replace as necessary.
