ROCHESTER Carburetors: Description: Notes

Four barrel downdraft carburetors with large secondary bores incorporating an air valve which controls secondary metering rods (primary metering rods controlled by power piston). Carburetors are same design as previous models except for relocated hot idle compensator valve (1968), (thermostatic valve replaces hot idle compensator on some models) and idle air by-pass system (1969).
