The clutch is a single disc type using a diaphragm spring to engage the pressure plate. The clutch is mechanically controlled by the clutch pedal, clutch cable, return spring, release fork and prelubricated release bearing. The system incorporates a clutch start switch that disables the starter unless the clutch pedal is fully depressed.
