Low Oil Indicator Test: Notes
NOTE:
Low oil indicator will not illuminate if low oil is detected while engine is running. Instrument cluster will only check oil level sensor when ignition switch is turned to ON position after drainback times are met. If engine is cold, drainback time is 35 minutes after ignition was turned off. If engine is hot (run for at least 17 minutes), drainback time is 4 minutes after ignition was turned off.
