Powertrain Control Module: Installation

  1. Install harness connectors to PCM.
  2. Install PCM into air cleaner assembly.
  3. Install air cleaner assembly cover.
  4. Tighten air cleaner assembly cover retainers.
  5. Install left sheet metal diagonal brace to air cleaner assembly.
  6. Connect negative battery cable.
  7. If a new PCM is being installed, program EEPROM. See POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE  under PROGRAMMING.
