Theft Deterrent Control Module: Installation

1. Push theft deterrent module (2), onto lock cylinder housing (1) . See Fig 1.
2. Install theft deterrent wiring harness to steering column harness.
3. Connect harness connectors.
4. Replace steering column trim covers.
5. Enable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article.
6. Program new theft control module. See PROGRAMMING THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM COMPONENTS  under PROGRAMMING.
