Installation Procedure

  1. Install the O-ring (3) to the automatic level control air compressor.

  2. Install the air compressor head.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the air compressor head bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the air compressor head bolts in the order shown to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  4. Route the wires through the tie strap and the conduit.
  5. Install the wiring to terminals B and D on the automatic level control air compressor electrical connector.
  6. Install the air dryer to the automatic level control air compressor. Refer to Automatic Level Control Air Dryer Replacement .
  7. Connect the exhaust hose to the automatic level control compressor head.

  8. Install the automatic level control air compressor to the vehicle. Refer to Air Compressor Replacement .
