Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2004 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2004 GMC Envoy XUV, 2004 GMC Envoy XL, 2004 GMC Envoy, and 2004 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the motor. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement (Old Style PEZ)  or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Replacement (New Style MD4) .
  2. Connect the electrical connector to the motor/actuator.
  3. Install the headliner. Refer toHeadliner Replacement (TrailBlazer, Envoy, Bravada) , Headliner Replacement (TrailBlazer EXT, Envoy XL) or Headliner Replacement (Envoy XUV) in Interior Trim.
  4. Perform the Initialization/Teach Procedure. Refer to Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initilization/Teach Process (New Motor)  or Sunroof Motor/Actuator Initilization/Teach Process (Existing Motor) .
  5. Verify the operation of the sunroof.
