Installation Procedure

  1. Install the strut to the vehicle.
    2. Fig 1: Identifying Upper Strut Mounting Nuts

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the strut upper nuts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the strut upper nuts to 41 N.m (30 lb ft).

  3. Install the wiper module refer to Wiper Motor Module Replacement

  4. Install the strut lower bolts and nuts. Hand tighten only.

  5. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  6. Inspect and adjust the camber as necessary. Refer to Front Camber Adjustment in Wheel Alignment.
  7. Lower the vehicle.
