Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the generator.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).
    • Tighten the nuts to 30 N.m (22 lb ft).

  2. Install the generator electrical connections.
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.5L.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnect/Connect Procedure .
