Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the shift knob and boot. Refer to Shift Control Knob Replacement .
  2. Remove the console. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the control lever boot rivets.

  4. Remove the shift control lever boot.
