ECM Replacement

If the engine control module (ECM) is replaced, the following procedures must be performed:

• The ECM Reprogramming-Refer to Service Programming System (SPS) .
• The CKP Variation Learn-Refer to Crankshaft Position System Variation Learn in Engine Controls - 5.3L.
• The Immobilizer Programming-Refer to Programming Immobilizer System Components .
