Removal Procedure

    CAUTION: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution .
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).
  4. Remove the retaining screw, then the shift lock control module/shift lock solenoid assembly.
