Removal Procedure

  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
    3. Fig 1: Identifying Throttle Body Electrical Connector

  3. Remove the throttle body electrical connector (1) from the throttle body.
    4. Fig 2: Identifying Throttle Body Bolts To Upper Intake Manifold Retaining Bolts

  4. Remove the throttle body bolts to upper intake manifold retaining bolts (1).
  5. Remove the throttle body and gasket from the vehicle.
