Installation Procedure

  1. Install the fuel pump (1).

  2. Turn the fuel pump clockwise so that the locking tab (1) seats the fuel pump into position.

  3. Connect the fuel pump electrical connector and the fuel pump plastic connector. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .

  4. Install the fuel pump flange (1) and a NEW O-ring.

  5. Partially install the fuel pump module and connect the plastic connectors. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service .
  6. Connect the electrical connector.

  7. Using the J-45722:  wrench, install the cam lock ring (1) by turning clockwise.
  8. Install the fuel tank. Refer to Fuel Tank Replacement .
