DME Control Relay

  1. Disconnect DME control relay. Using an ohmmeter, ensure their is no continuity between any/all electrical terminals and body of relay.
  2. Apply battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and ground terminal No. 3. See Fig 1 . Ensure their is continuity between terminals No. 1 and 4.
  3. Apply battery voltage to terminal No. 2 and 1. Ground terminals No. 3 and 5. Ensure their is voltage at terminal No. 6. Replace relay if it does not follow any of the above testing procedures.
