Throttle Valve Switches

Vehicles with manual transmissions use a Closed Throttle Position (CTP) switch and a wide open (full) throttle switch. Vehicles with Tiptronic (automatic) transmission use a CTP switch and a throttle valve potentiometer. Potentiometer is used exclusively for transmission control.
