Limp-Home Mode

  1. Connect voltmeter between terminals 1 and 2 of limp-home test connector. See Fig 1 . Start engine. If system is operating properly, meter will read less than 1 volt.

  2. If system is operating in limp-home mode, meter will indicate battery voltage. If battery voltage is indicated, proceed to AIR MASS METER test.
