Limp-Home Mode

  1. Connect voltmeter between GRN/RED wire (900 Series), GRY/RED wire (9000 Series) and VIO/WHT terminals of test connector. These will be terminals No. 1 and 2 on 900 Series and terminals No. 2 and 3 on 9000 Series. See Figure . Start engine. If system is operating properly, meter will read less than one volt.
  2. If system is operating in limp-home mode, meter will indicate battery voltage. If battery voltage is indicated, proceed to AIR MASS METER test.
