Clearing Codes

  1. To erase codes, turn jumper switch to ON position. After about 2.5 seconds, CHECK ENGINE light will flash 3 times quickly. Immediately after third flash, turn jumper switch to OFF position.
  2. Some faults can be classified as adaptation faults. Once fault is corrected, codes generated may not be erased until system re-adapts to new running conditions. See PROGRAMMING ECU .
