Removal & Installation: Notes

WARNING: If vehicle is equipped with driver's side air bag, use extreme caution while servicing steering column. Disconnect battery and wait at least 20 minutes before attempting any repair. To prevent inadvertent air bag deployment, DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without disconnecting air bag electronic control unit.
