Preliminary Procedure  Remove the lever knob. Refer to TRANSMISSION CONTROL LEVER KNOB REPLACEMENT .
1	Transmission Control Lever Boot Procedure  Lift the lever boot up from the center console, carefully with a suitable tool. Disconnect the electrical connector. Transfer any parts as needed.
