Preliminary Check

Check power steering fluid level. Add power steering fluid if necessary. Check pump drive belt for correct tension. Refer to the POWER STEERING PUMP BELTS  under ADJUSTMENTS. Ensure Electronic Variable Orifice (EVO) actuator connector is secure and clean.
