Overhaul - 5-Speed: Identification

Transaxle can be identified by code stamped on top of bellhousing. See Fig 1 . First number of code is model year. Next group of numbers is transaxle model, followed by plant code and Julian production date and hour. Always refer to this number when ordering parts.
