Rear Suspension: Description
Saturn uses a MacPherson strut type rear suspension. See Fig 1 . Strut assembly is connected to the vehicle at three locations. The top is connected to the vehicle body. The bottom is connected to the crossmember through the knuckle and lateral links. The bottom is also connected to the vehicle body through a trailing arm. The strut is not serviceable and must be replaced.
