Engine Control Module: Installation

  1. Use the retaining tab to secure the ECM when installing the ECM to the underhood junction block bracket.
  2. Connect the large ECM harness connector to the ECM. See Fig 1 .
  3. Connect the small ECM harness connector to the ECM.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
  5. Program the ECM. See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE REPROGRAMMING  .
