Installation Procedure

  1. Install the shift control to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the shift lock solenoid harness connector.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the shift control nuts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the shift control nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the shift cable to the shift control assembly.
  5. Install the console. Refer to CONSOLE REPLACEMENT - FRONT FLOOR in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
