Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner filter into the lower air cleaner housing.
  2. Install the top air cleaner cover to the lower air cleaner housing.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Secure the air cleaner housing cover.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air cleaner housing screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).

  4. Install the air cleaner resonator to the air cleaner assembly.

    Tighten:  Tighten the air cleaner outlet duct clamps to 5 N.m (44 lb in).

  5. Connect the MAF sensor harness connector.
